List of the Top 10 Hotels in Uganda
(e-Way Tech, Kampala) – You are reading this article because you love hotels. You have always loved hotels. I’m not sure why temporarily living in a room smaller than your home or apartment is so thrilling, but that’s the way it’s always been for me as well.
But as surely as early babies transform into adults, hotels are also evolving – for example they need websites. We figured a way to find out the top 10 hotels in Kampala so you wouldn’t have to go through the whole process all over yourself.
Obviously, determining what is the top or the best hotel is a subjective matter. There are many factors to consider such as rates, amenities, facilities, scenery and customer experience.
Our Criteria for the Top 10 Hotels in Uganda
As an internet company (we are into website development), we decided that as far as looking for a local hotel in any part of the world, whether in Kampala or the rest of Uganda is concerned, we will limit our list to only local hotels with a web presence – not just on booking platforms like trip advisor, but hotels with a locally accessible website – accessible through relevant search phrases.
So we jumped on Google and typed all manners of search phrases like “best hotels in Uganda”, “top hotels in Uganda”, “best hotel accommodation in Uganda” and all other similar manner of phrases.
Our listing rule for the top 10 hotels in Uganda is simple – No website, no inclusion on our list. If we cannot find your hotel website in search engines like Google, then this list won’t feature your hotel. There were hotels on Google Local Business, but we wanted an ‘organic’ search experience.
So without further ado, we discovered the top ten hotel websites across 20 search results pages. Foreign booking platforms (hotels.com, madahotels.com etc) were ignored, as were hotel ads appearing within the search results pages. Similarly news results and business directory listings were filtered out as noise.
And behold, this is what we found out:
